Merry Christmas!

CUTE!

Fairy Girls

This is one of my favorite photos lately.

Superb Balance for a fairy.

Here is our Christmas Tree. This is my experimental photography at work. I tool a bunch of these and they look pretty cool.

Here is my attempt at drawing the girls. It was hard to get them to pose for three hours to do it.

Family Picture!

Left to Right (back): Nikki, Chris, Matt, Richard (Dad), Susanne (Mom), Adam.
(Front) Lorlie, Sienna, Luke, Amy, Makayla, Kaitlin, Kelly.

We finally got everyone together for a family picture. Everyone but Aubrey and her family that is. That's why we left a big gap in front of Chris. The photographer was in the picture (Adam), and that is why we weren't exactly composed very well, but it worked out.

St. George or Bust!!

Well we are now St. Georgians! Adam got a job with Skywest Airlines being a Multimedia Developer! We are so excited for the opportunity. It is exactly the type of job we'd been praying for. Adam gets to do whatever media stuff they need him to do mainly video and graphic work, which is awesome because he has been learning so many different programs and so many different types of media, and he didn't ever want to commit to just graphic design or just rigging ( for animation) etc. So we left all our family and friends and made the trek to St. George, and after renting a huge moving van, loading up all our stuff, and many hours of fussy girls we made it!!!
Actually the move went really smoothly. We were blessed to have lot of help both loading up in SLC and pleasantly surprised to have a lot of help when we got here too.
We're adjusting well. we really like the weather and the actual city. It's small but has Everything we need. Tons of really great parks with lit tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, basketball, pavilions and of course cool playgrounds. There are a lot of cool parks with water- like mini "Gateways," or like Liberty Park. We have almost every store you can think of including In-N-Out, which makes Adam really happy - along with Jimmy Johns, and Famous Daves which we also really like. The girls really miss their friends -especially Makayla- but we're starting to meet some new people. Our ward is great and I'm sure we'll love living here.

The MTC

When Daniel gets home it'll be a little harder to hold both of these little ladies. Makayla will be 4 1/2 and Kaitlin will almost be 3.
Daniel gave Makayla a wonder woman PEZ. She loves it! She calls it, "her woman." Daniel was so sweet to think of her.
Daniel and the girls!

Elder Law New York or Bust!

What a sweet day. Daniel's talk was great and the spirit was very strong. He talked about teaching with your heart and knowing the gospel with your heart. He'll be a great missionary!

Mom and the girls!

Christmas with the Evans Family

Makayla looks very excited about the whole
ordeal in this picture but she actually really loved sledding!
Kelly and Bobby!

Daddy and Kaitlin.

Our 1st snowy mountain picture!

Our family Christmas Picture this year.

Actually, we had Christmas with the Law Family also, but the title is meant to be the Adam and Amy Evans Family. We always get a little crazy around Christmas time. It is the only time of year when we don't feel bad about buying the things that we should have been able to buy all year round (like pop-tarts). Everyone always talks about how they hate Christmas, but we don't feel that way at all. It all depends on where your attitude is.

We went to a Black family reunion on the 2nd of January at a cabin in Aspen Grove. We went sledding an played games all night. It was fun.

Wedding Bells

Matthew and Lorlie got Married on Saturday. The wedding was at Lorlie's Boss' house in the backyard. It was amazing. Adam did the videography even though he is not sure if he'll ever have time to edit it all together.

The Master at work!

Daddy and the 1st diaper change.

Makayla loves Kaitlin

Makayla loves her baby sister. This is the first time she saw the baby and she just wanted to hug and hold and squeeze and kiss her.

The scoop on baby Kaitlins wild arrival.

Kaitlin Ann was born Saturday, February 24th, 2007 at 4:28 AM. She weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19 1/2 in long. She surprised us and came exactly 3 weeks early. Adam was in denial when I told him I was having contractions, and told me not to have the baby, because he wasn't ready. But she is an angel and we are so thrilled to have her in our family.
She has lots of brownish hair and dark eyelashes. We're hoping her mild nature continues and that Makayla's fieriness is only because of her red hair.
